The Gooney Birds of Southport raffle was a big hit in helping out The Lord's Food Pantry's Capital Campaign! They managed to donate $7000 to the pantry. A massive shoutout to the anonymous artist for her hard work and a huge thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets!

Blessed to be able to represent The Lord’s Food Pantry at the ribbon cutting ceremony for Bryant’s Orchard which will house the Christian Recovery Centers Inc. men’s Motivational Track, and increase their residential capacity to serve 217 men and women.

St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church collected 30 jars of peanut butter and 27 jars of jelly for a total of 96.6 pounds during February to Spread the Love to The Lord's Food Pantry. A big thanks to everyone involved!

Volunteers were treated to a delicious brunch! The " You Done Good Awards " were given to those who went above and beyond in their volunteer efforts. St. Luke Lutheran Church snagged the award for having the most walkers in the 2025 Crop Walk. Shallotte Presbyterian Church once again secured the Crop Walk trophy for raising the most money!

Santa helps deliver food On December 19 and 20, Santa assisted The Lord's Food Pantry in supplying Christmas dinner essentials and weekend groceries to nearly 270 families. The Brunswick Plantation Charities recently donated a $1000 check to The Lord's Food Pantry. The Pantry is deeply appreciative of the support from churches, organizations, and communities in South Brunswick County, with 100% of the donations aiding our neighbors in need. Volunteers gathered to write letters to potential donors to the Capital Campaign, an initiative aimed at raising crucial funds for the new facility on Holden Beach Road. Each volunteer contributed to a collaborative atmosphere that fostered enthusiasm and a sense of community.

People of all ages pitched in at The Lord’s Food Pantry the weekend before Thanksgiving to spread some holiday cheer to our southern Brunswick County neighbors! Besides the usual two to three days' worth of healthy food we give out every week, we also handed out a complete Thanksgiving meal, ready to cook.
