On a lovely Saturday morning, volunteers from Saint Luke Lutheran Church lent a hand at The Pantry! Every member showed up with a smile, eager to assist our neighbors in need.

Even the rain couldn't keep our amazing volunteers from coming out to The Lord's Food Pantry! Packing Day! Rain outside but caring hearts inside! Not even a sprinkle could rain on the parade of these unstoppable volunteers!

Food collected by Dosher Hospital in Southport was donated to PORCH South Brunswick. The Lord's Food Pantry was the recipient of much of the over 500 pounds of food that was collected. The Lord's Food Pantry will maintain its regular hours this July 4th weekend, open on Friday from 4:30 to 6:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.

The Calabash Elks Lodge recently hosted its annual Charity Golf Tournament, an event that not only brought together golf enthusiasts from various backgrounds but also served as a crucial fundraising effort to support a variety of local community initiatives. The Lord's Food Pantry was honored to receive a donation of $3250 as one of the beneficiaries.

Earlier this month, Dan Shaw and Terry Transou got together with The Patty Jones Circle at Village Point Methodist Church to thankfully accept donations for our general and capital campaign funds. They talked about all the exciting things happening at our pantry! In the photo with Dan and Terry are the circle leaders, Nell Walker (Treasurer) and Linda Maidment (President).

We appreciate all the neighborhoods that participate in our monthly Porch collections! Our volunteers put in a lot of effort sorting and organizing all the donations. The food gathered through Porch greatly benefits our neighbors in need.
