Last Saturday, volunteers from Saint Luke Lutheran Church collected food and toiletries for The Lords Food Pantry at the Food Lion in Sunset Beach. Totals for the day: 3561 pounds of food and $708. What a fantastic day!!
Food Lion customers picked up a list of items that the Pantry needs as they entered the store. They purchased items on the list while grocery shopping and donated the items on their way out. Saint Luke Lutheran Church organized the event, collected, sorted, and transported food to the Pantry.
